According to police sources, Javed is a resident of Pilkhua in Hapur area. He got married to Sabreen during the Covid pandemic. They also have a three-year-old daughter. Javed's brother Anis said that Javed used to beat Sabreen since marriage. Sabrin was living with her in-laws for the last eight months. After investigation, the police said that Sabrin sometimes left the house. When he came back after twenty days, Javed started trouble with him. Javed also started beating Sabreen thinking that his wife was involved in an extra-marital affair. According to police sources, at that time Javed cut Sabreen's throat with a blade. He even used a sharp blade on the neck of their three-year-old daughter. After that he tried to commit suicide. Sarbin died on the spot.

Javed and his daughter were rescued with serious injuries and admitted to a nearby hospital. Both are currently undergoing treatment in a Delhi hospital. Javed and his daughter's physical condition is still critical, said hospital doctors.

পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, জাভেদ হাপুর এলাকার পিলখুয়ার বাসিন্দা। কোভিড মহামারীর সময় সাবরীনের সাথে তার বিয়ে হয়। তাদের তিন বছরের একটি মেয়েও রয়েছে। জাভেদের ভাই আনিস জানান, বিয়ের পর থেকেই জাভেদ সাবরিনকে মারধর করত। গত আট মাস ধরে শ্বশুরবাড়িতে থাকছিলেন সাবরিন। তদন্তের পর পুলিশ জানায়, সাবরিন মাঝে মাঝে বাড়ি থেকে বেরিয়ে যেত। কুড়ি দিন পর ফিরে এলে জাভেদ তাকে নিয়ে ঝামেলা শুরু করে। জাভেদও সাবরীনকে মারধর শুরু করে এই ভেবে যে তার স্ত্রী বিবাহ বহির্ভূত সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে পড়েছে। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, ওই সময় জাভেদ ব্লেড দিয়ে সাবরীনের গলা কেটে ফেলে। এমনকি তাদের তিন বছরের মেয়ের গলায় ধারালো ব্লেডও দিয়েছিলেন তিনি। এরপর তিনি আত্মহত্যার চেষ্টা করেন। এতে ঘটনাস্থলেই সারবিনের মৃত্যু হয়।

গুরুতর আহত জাভেদ ও তার মেয়েকে উদ্ধার করে নিকটস্থ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। দুজনেই বর্তমানে দিল্লির একটি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। জাভেদ ও তার মেয়ের শারীরিক অবস্থা এখনও আশঙ্কাজনক বলে জানিয়েছেন হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসকরা।

पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, जावेद हापुड क्षेत्र के पिलखुआ का रहने वाला है। उन्होंने कोविड महामारी के दौरान सबरीन से शादी की। उनकी एक तीन साल की बेटी भी है. जावेद के भाई अनीस ने बताया कि शादी के बाद से ही जावेद साबरीन को पीटता था। सबरीन पिछले आठ माह से अपने ससुराल में रह रही थी। जांच के बाद पुलिस ने बताया कि सबरीन कभी-कभी घर से निकल जाती थी. बीस दिन बाद जब वह वापस आया तो जावेद ने उससे परेशानी शुरू कर दी। जावेद ने भी सबरीन को यह सोचकर पीटना शुरू कर दिया कि उसकी पत्नी विवाहेतर संबंध में शामिल है। पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, उसी वक्त जावेद ने ब्लेड से साबरीन का गला काट दिया. यहां तक कि उसने उनकी तीन साल की बेटी की गर्दन पर भी तेज ब्लेड का इस्तेमाल किया। इसके बाद उसने आत्महत्या करने की कोशिश की. सरबीन की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

गंभीर रूप से घायल जावेद और उनकी बेटी को बचा लिया गया और नजदीकी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। दोनों का फिलहाल दिल्ली के एक अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने कहा, जावेद और उनकी बेटी की शारीरिक स्थिति अभी भी गंभीर है।
