A young man was making comments against his girlfriend. Unable to control his anger, the girl's boyfriend killed the young man. The incident took place on Friday in North Madhyapara area of Agartala in Tripura. The name of the deceased is Sion Bhowmik (24). The name of the accused is Samrat Debnath.


According to police sources, Sion was making ugly comments in front of him in the name of the emperor's lover. Unable to bear it, the emperor quarreled with Sion. The grumbling of the two sides gradually turned into a fight.

Allegedly, seeing a rod near his hand, the emperor started beating Sion with it. According to the police, after beating him with a rod, the accused killed Sion by cutting him several times with a knife.


According to the police, Sion is a shop employee in Tripura's Amtali area by profession. According to the police of Amtali police station, they reached the spot as soon as they got the information. The police arrested the emperor from there. He confessed to the murder during interrogation. The accused is currently in police custody.

পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, সম্রাটের প্রেমিকার নামে তাঁর সামনেই কুরুচিপূর্ণ মন্তব্য করছিলেন সায়ন। তা সহ্য করতে না পেরে সায়নের সাথে সম্রাটের ঝগড়া হয়। দু’পক্ষের বচসা ধীরে ধীরে হাতাহাতিতে রূপ নেয়।

অভিযোগ, হাতের কাছে একটি রড দেখে তা দিয়ে সায়নকে মারধর শুরু করেন সম্রাট। পুলিশ জানায়, রড দিয়ে পিটিয়ে সায়নকে ছুরি দিয়ে কয়েকবার কুপিয়ে হত্যা করে অভিযুক্তরা।


পুলিশ জানায়, সায়ন পেশায় ত্রিপুরার আমতলী এলাকায় দোকানের কর্মচারী। আমতলী থানার পুলিশ জানায়, খবর পেয়ে তারা ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে। পুলিশ সেখান থেকে সম্রাটকে গ্রেফতার করে। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে সে হত্যার কথা স্বীকার করেছে। অভিযুক্ত বর্তমানে পুলিশ হেফাজতে রয়েছে।

पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सायन सम्राट की प्रेमिका के नाम पर उनके सामने भद्दे कमेंट्स कर रहा था। इसे सहन करने में असमर्थ, सम्राट ने सायन से झगड़ा किया। दोनों पक्षों की नोंकझोंक धीरे-धीरे मारपीट में बदल गई।

कथित तौर पर उसके हाथ के पास रॉड देखकर बादशाह ने उससे सायन को पीटना शुरू कर दिया. पुलिस के मुताबिक, आरोपियों ने रॉड से पीटने के बाद चाकू से कई बार काटकर सायन की हत्या कर दी.


पुलिस के मुताबिक, सायन पेशे से त्रिपुरा के अमताली इलाके में एक दुकान का कर्मचारी है। अमताली थाने की पुलिस के मुताबिक सूचना मिलते ही वे मौके पर पहुंचे. पुलिस ने वहां से बादशाह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. पूछताछ में उसने हत्या की बात कबूल कर ली। आरोपी फिलहाल पुलिस हिरासत में है.
